Pack 131 Identity
Pro-bono project
Pack 131 is a thriving Cub Scout program.  They are a ministry of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church in Pasadena California.  As with all Cub Scout programs throughout the country, it exists because of the volunteer spirit and the hard work dedicated to our youth.  Also, as with many other volunteer programs the necessity to formalize their graphic identity seems to lack priority.  However, both of my sons have gone through the Pack 131 program and I have been witness to it's valuable character building traits.

I decided to give back.  The logo for Pack 131 uniquely differentiates them from other packs in their district and promotes them with more polish and brand spirit.  The inclusion of the wolf is symbolic to Cub Scouts of America as opposed to the Boy Scouts of America. Also, integrating the church's unique steeple with the cross directly ties Pack 131 to our parish.
